“Get acquainted with the mysteriously awesome PVRIS before they become the biggest thing in

rock. For fans of The Neighbourhood, CHVRCHES, and Paramore, PVRIS are the best thing since

sliced bread.”  That’s what MTV said about the Boston-based trio of vocalist Lynn Gunn, guitarist

Alex Babinski and bassist Brian MacDonald and the band is certainly living up to the hype: they

kicked off 2016 with a performance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” were spotlighted on “Last Call

with Carson Daly,” hit the road with Fall Out Boy and Awolnation for a North American arena

tour and were featured on the cover of Alternative Press. That followed a year in which they hit

No. 1 on Billboard’s “Emerging Artists” and “Trending 140” charts, played to packed-house

crowds around the world and racked up over 12 million total YouTube views and 15 million

Led by 21-year- old vocalist Lynn Gunn, who the Huffington Post described as “a force that

cannot be denied,” they stole the show on last summer’s Warped Tour (founder Kevin Lyman

called them the tour’s breakout act) before joining the likes of Mumford & Sons, Kendrick

Lamar and Deadmau5 on the Reading and Leeds festivals. This June they’ll join Florence & The

Machine, Ellie Goulding and Disclosure on the Firefly Music Festival.

They’re supporting debut album White Noise and its plethora of hot tracks, including “My

House” (which has over 7 million views and 5.5 million YouTube views), “St. Patrick” (which has

more than 6.6 million streams and 3 million YouTube views), “Holy,” (over 4 million streams),

“Fire” (a BBC Radio 1 “Track of the Day”) and many more. They’re amplifying the album by

releasing a special two-disc deluxe version that includes new tracks “You and I” and “Empty”

and a DVD featuring all 10 of their videos, including the recently released “You and I” clip.

The band made White Noise by smashing all constraints and dreamt up a whole new hybrid of

punk, electronic music and gorgeously crafted pop. “Early on we tried to fit into this very heavy

sound, but eventually the idea of boxing ourselves in just completely flew out the window,”

says Gunn, who connected with guitarist/keyboardist Alex Babinski and bassist/keyboardist

Brian MacDonald through the local punk scene in Lowell, Massachusetts. “Our mentality now is

to make whatever kind of music we want, and never try to limit what we can do.”
