WATCH: Dave Grohl's Chris Cornell Tribute Show Performance - Amy Brooks

If, like me, you didn't get out to Inglewood, CA. to see “I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell,” live, no surprise we missed quite the show.   The 5 hour tribute concert honored his career and catalog and was (also) not surprisingly sold out.  The lineup included members of Soundgarden and Audioslave, as well as Metallica, Foo Fighters, Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine, Brandi Carlile, Ryan Adams and Temple of the Dog and Jimmy Kimmel hosted the whole she-bang.

Now maybe you're saying yeah yeah yeah Amy, we know... this show is old news.  Well what isn't old news is the fact that some new footage has surfaced!  Chris Cornell's Instagram account just posted a clip of the one and only Dave Grohl taking the mic for a cover of "Show Me How To Live" with former members of Audioslave (Tom Morello rocks) and Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo backing.  Check out the post below:

Whether or not a bigger official release is still to come isn't known, but it's good to know that higher quality video exists.

A documentary about Cornell was recently revealed to be in the works with Brad Pitt and director Peter Berg alongside Cornell's widow Vicky, who is producing.

How cool would it be if they released the entire concert on video!??

Which performances have you seen footage of so far?
