NEW MUSIC: Young The Giant "Superposition"

"Superposition" leads off 'Mirror Master', the fourth album from Los Angeles alt-rockers Young The Giant.

Young The Giant prove themselves rather adept at these sneaky, mellow, catchy pop-rock songs that utilize the softer edges of Sameer Gadhia's voice. Think about "Cough Syrup" and "Mind Over Matter". These songs don't melt your face but they get in your head. The chorus "I want you / to want me / why don't we rely on chemistry?" is cute and memorable enough; but the way Sameer lifts his voice at the end of each verse with the lyric "in any universe you are my dark star" is just gorgeous.
