U2 Harvey Relief And A New Song On Fallon - Amy Brooks

Just as Florida braces for Irma, the storm that's been "downgraded to a category 4 hurricane" the great people of Texas and Louisiana still need relief.  And who better to help than the ever mighty philanthropists...U2.  The Edge is the latest artist to step up in hurricane relief (he'd better get ready to add Florida to his help list).  He's focused on reaching out directly to musicians in Texas and Louisiana who've been affected by Hurricane Harvey.  In fact here's the link if YOU too would care to contribute: MusicRising.com.

Now let's get back to the other reason U2 were on the Tonight Show...to perform their new single "You're The Best Thing About Me," which was their TV debut of the song.  They also played one of my favorites...The Joshua Tree’s  “Bullet The Blue Sky,” and slayed it as always.  Finally, they also officially announced that their new album (and follow up to Songs Of Innocence), Songs From Experience will be released Dec 1 (and this one won't just show up in your iTunes, heaven forbid).

Good for them, good for us!
