Jack White vs. Black Keys Feud Officially Over

A feud between Jack White and the Black Keys has been part of rock 'n' roll legend for years -- but now there's further confirmation that it's no more.

White and the Keys members have traded barbs at each other, mostly over White's contention that the Ohio-formed duo copied his White Stripes, and Keys drummer Patrick Carney even said White tried to start a fight with him in a New York City bar during 2015. The two put things to rest shortly thereafter, and now White's ex-wife Karen Elson has weighed in.

Carney produced two tracks on Elson's upcoming album Double Roses, and after speculation surfaced that she was motivated by post-marital revenge Elson tweeted "no drama or anything close to what you're writing about. These people are friends end of story."

White and Elson divorced in 2013 after nearly eight years of marriage; they have two children.

The Keys, meanwhile, continue to go their separate ways, with Carney also working with Michelle Branch on her new album and singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach releasing a solo album this spring.
