GALLERY: Day 6 USA Medal Round-Up

It was a very golden day six for Team USA at the Rio Olympics, with history being made to boot.

Team USA added another six medals, bringing their medal count to 38, which is the current lead among competing nations.  (China is currently in second with 30 medals.)

Gymnasts Simone Biles and Aly Raisman took gold and silver at the Women’s individual all-around.  On top of that, Simone Manuel  won gold in the 100m freestyle making her the first African-American swimmer to win that event.

Oh…and some guy named Michael Phelps won his 22nd gold medal.  No big deal.
