FLASHBACK: Tom Morello, Chris Cornell Perform Together For First Time Since Audioslave Split

Tom Morello turns 52 today (May 30th), and while we are literally days from finding out what this new Rage Against The Machine collaboration with Public Enemy’s Chuck D and Cypress Hill’s B-Real is all about, we’d like to look back to the show that brought the guitarist back together with Chris Cornell.

Morello and Cornell, of course, were part of the supergroup Audioslave, and after the band split in 2007, these two reunited for a 2014 benefit concert for the organization 15 Now, which fought for a $15 minimum wage in Seattle.  What happened at that show was nothing short of magical.  Check out the video below which features performances of “I Am The Highway,” “Doesn’t Remind Me,” “Your Time Has Come,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad” and “Cochise.”
