Slash and Queen of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme are the latest additions to the all-star cast of "Gutterdammerung," a black-and-white film that's being billed as "the loudest silent movie on Earth."
Directed by Bjorn Tagemose and co-written by Henry Rollins, the film also features Rollins, Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister, members of Volbeat, Slayer's Tom Araya and Iggy Pop; the plot involves the chaos that occurs when the Devil`s guitar is sent back to an Earth that's been sanitized from sin and other misbehaviors. Homme will be roaming the Earth wielding a bazooka called Death's Dominion, while Slash will be searching for a "phallic tool of eternal torment."
"Gutterdammerung" is expected out before the end of this year, and a touring band is expected to play at screenings along with a narrator; details about the latter haven't been revealed yet, but they can't come too soon, can they?
And if you thought it couldn't get any better... IT JUST HAS. We've got @Slash!! Yes... SLASH!!! #Gutterdämmerung
