WATCH: Hozier Surprises New Yorkers With Live Subway Performance

Would you know right away if you were walking by and Hozier was playing on a street corner or at South Station? I know I would!  Safe to say most New Yorkers (and Bostonians for that matter) are accustomed to hustling by and not paying too much attention to anything other than their own thoughts or their own destination, paying little mind to subway buskers and performers.  So I find it refreshingly surprising that they actually stopped to notice this particular busker performing on Wednesday evening in the heart of New York.

That's right, Hozier took over the Rockefeller Center station, serenading those who actually stopped to watch and listen. He played songs from his latest record, Wasteland, Baby! to  the delight of all.

Backed by a band including a keyboardist and singers, Hozier also treated fans to his monster hit, "Take Me To Church". done here a capella WATCH!  (no autotune here)
