Bonnaroovians rejoice! Bonnaroo shared its 2019 lineup featuring Phish doing triple-duty, hip hop stars Childish Gambino and Post Malone, and more.
Bonnaroo should satisfy fans of the huge festival's jam band roots with three headlining sets by Phish. Childish Gambino co-headlines Friday alongside Phish. Post Malone graduates to headliner status on Saturday alongside Odesza. And The Lumineers bolster the roots vibe on Sunday.

Scanning deeper into the lineup, Bonnaroo looks more alt/rock friendly than the other big festivals. Alt 92.9 artists hitting the stage at 'The Farm' include Walk The Moon, Hozier, AJR, Catfish & The Bottlemen, k.flay, Bishop Briggs, King Princess, Two Feet, and The Record Company.
Some other alt/indie artists you should check out: Beach House, Courtney Barnett, The National, Mac Demarco, Girl Talk, Nahko & Medicine For The People, Parquet Courts, Ibeyi, Cherry Glazerr, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Hippo Campus, Donna Missal, Caroline Rose, Rubblebucket, and The Lemon Twigs.
Once upon a time, rock and metal fans could usually rely on Bonnaroo to tap at least a couple heavier-sounding bands. Looks like those days have returned! Deafheaven, Rival Sons, and Gojira all play on Friday - in case you're in the market for a one day ticket.
And of course... there's lots of hip hop and dance music as well.
On a personal note, I've been to two Bonnaroos and four other large multi-day festivals. The sense of community between Bonnaroovians on 'The Farm' is truly unique. If you have the means I highly recommend it.
