Danish singer MØ wraps "Blur" around an iconic alt-rock moment and gets help from the dude behind Foster The People.
You may recognize Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen's voice from the massive dance/pop track "Lean On". She's released ample solo material as well including her recent full length Forever Neverland.
As for "Blur", I can't find info that confirms MØ sampled the now-classic acoustic guitar and chord progression from Pixies' "Where Is My Mind". But holy crap the two songs sound very similar.
The version you'll hear on Alt 92.9 features Mark Foster of Foster The People. This remix hits the web for sale and streaming on November 30, so enjoy the album cut in the meantime. Switch MØ's voice for Mark's in the second verse and imagine they duet the second chorus and you'll get the gist of it.
