The future of Chester Bennington's "Carpool Karaoke" episode is in the hands of his family.
Host James Corden tells the Associated Press that after Bennington's suicide death on July 20, he's leaving it up to the Linkin Park singer's widow, Talinda, to decide whether it can air or not:
"We will approach it in whichever manner his family or the people that were involved in that episode, however, they would like it to be handled. We will navigate it as delicately as possible and just adhere to whatever wishes they would want because I don't think there's any other way we could deal with it. It's a tragedy."
Talinda Bennington subsequently tweeted a message of thanks to Corden for his words.
Tributes to Bennington continue to surface on the #RIPCHESTER web site established by Linkin Park.
