Manchester, England is still reeling from Monday’s (May 22) tragic suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert that left 22 people dead, but when its residents gathered for a memorial Thursday (May 25), they leaned on the words of some of their cities favorite sons.
The moving video below was captured by The Guardian, and shows Manchester resident Lydia Bernsmeier-Rullow begin a sing-a-long after a moment of silence to the Oasis hit “Don’t Look Back In Anger.”
Warning: You might want a tissue or two handy after the clip. Simply moving and a reminder that in times like these, music is one of the great unifiers and healing forces in the world.
