Nickelback and Royal Blood have engaged in some fightin' words over Twitter the past few days.

The British duo fired the first shot on Friday (October 7), tweeting that "@realDonaldTrump + @HillaryClinton = @Nickelback," with an American flag at the end of it. But Nickleback, used to being a punching bag for the terminally hip, made a quick and cutting response the following day, writing that "Nickelback jokes are like @royalblooduk, they were a lot cooler a couple years ago. Don't drink and tweet fellas. Stay safe. XO."
