Bronson Arroyo: "Playing With Pearl Jam Was One Of The Greatest Nights Of My Life"

Bronson Arroyo has not only been a world class MLB pitcher for 16 years (think Red Sox 2004 World Series winning team) but he is also a great guitarist and monster Pearl Jam fan.  Thanks to Pearl Jam, Bronson had the honor to live out another dream, to play "Black" with his favorite band.  And where better to do it than in the outfield of his old stomping grounds, Fenway Park.   His worlds collided that night and he recently took pen to paper to tell us about it.  Very cool to read what it meant to him.

And watch the truly stirring version of "Black" he did with them. I love how Eddie introduces him.

Pearl Jam - Black - Fenway Park 8-5-2016 with Bronson Arroyo (A+ Audio) - best version

(A+ Audio) One of the best live performances of Black in recent times. Bronson Arroyo returns to Fenway playing guitar and leading the backup vocals. This is the second time Bronson has managed to get on stage with Eddie Vedder and the first with the entire band.

This is so cool.  It just solidifies my suspicion that professional athletes want to be rock stars and rock stars want to be pro athletes.
