Pikachu, I Choose You! PokeDates Is Now A Thing!

For those of you avid Pokemon Players that don't poke people using Facebook or would rather swipe a PokeBall rather than swipe right on Tinder, now there's PokeDates.

Yes, you can now find your own Pokemate by scouring the internet, rather than going to the nearest PokeStop to scope out the Pokemon Go players.

Pokemon GO Tips on Twitter

There is officially a dating app for #PokemonGO players! #Pokedates #GottaCatchEmAllpic.twitter.com/dvo8NtK3Qz

You can now be a nerd with the Poke-Partner of your choice by doing the simple things, according to Huffington Post:

Answer questions about yourself and what you’re looking for in a “Pokemate.” Specialists will then review your “PokeProfile” (we promise we didn’t make up either of those words).

Share your schedule so your potential love interest knows when you’re DTB (down to battle... we did make this up).

Receive an email with your PokeDate’s information and where you’ll meet - usually at a convenient PokeGym or Pokestop. Confirm this match.

Frolic into the world together to catch allllll the Pokemon!

It will, however, cost you $20 a date after your first free date, and you can also apparently earn free dates by referring friends. (It would probably be easier to refresh your date pool by whipping at a PokeStop, but hey, what do we know.)

Or you could just do this the old fashioned way and find someone battling near the nearest coffee stop or bar and use your best pick up lines:

"Are you a Pikachu? Because you are shockingly beautiful."

"Roses are red, violets are blue. If you were a Pokemon, I'd choose you."

"Wanna go Pokemon hunting tonight? Because I wanna catch a pikachu (peek-at-chu)!"
