Tool and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan is taking his act on the road this fall -- as an author rather than a rocker, however.
Keenan has announced a pair of special appearances to promote the publication of his authorized biography A Perfect Union of Contrary Things, which was written by Keenan’s longtime friend Sarah Jensen with his full authorization and input.
Keenan will appear on November 9 at the City Winery in Nashville and November 16 at Thalia Hall in Chicago; Keenan will read excerpts from the book at both events and be part of a moderated discussion and Q&A sessions about the book and his life. Tickets for events go on sale Friday, and a video trailer for the book has also been posted online.
Keenan is currently working on Tool's next album, the group's long-awaited follow-up to 2006's 10,000 Days.
