Cult Classic ‘The Warriors’ Being Adapted Into TV Show

Hulu…come out to play!

Per Deadline, the 1979 cult classic The Warriors  will be adapted into a one-hour drama series by Paramount TV and Hulu.  On board to direct the pilot are Joe and Anthony Russo, who are best known for their work in directing Marvel’s Captain America:  The Winter Solider and Captain America:  Civil War.

In other words:  With the Russo brothers on board, this adaptation could turn into something absolutely incredible!

Right now, there’s no timetable as to when filming will begin or when the series is projected to debut, but an original series like this could be massive for Hulu, especially with all of the attention streaming rival Netflix is receiving for its slew of exclusive and original content.
