Kid Rock’s Assistant Found Dead, Statement Released
Kid Rock’s assistant, Michael Sacha, was tragically found dead on the singer’s Nashville property.
Per The Tennessean, Sacha’s cause of death was the result of an apparent ATV accident.
In a statement, Rock said the following:
“I am beyond devastated to report that my personal assistant Mike Sacha passed away today in an ATV accident here in Nashville. He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family. We've already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumors before they spread. I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families' privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend.”
New Iggy Pop Book Coming Out Via Jack White’s Third Man Books
A new book titled TOTAL CHAOS: The Story of The Stooges/As Told by Iggy Pop will be released via Third Man Books, the book division of Jack White’s Third Man Records later this year.
In a statement, author Jeff Gold said, “It was a rare privilege to sit with Iggy as he downloaded the story of The Stooges. He's an incredible storyteller with a fantastic memory and a great sense of humor, and he held nothing back. The Stooges were pioneers in sound, look, and live presentation, and along the way invented a genre-punk rock-and influenced countless others that followed. There was no precedent in rock music for what they did. They're definitely the only group in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame who started out playing an amplified Waring blender, a vacuum cleaner, spring water bottles and a 200 gallon oil drum.”

Scott Weiland Sued By Bus Company
Okay…this is weird one.
Per TMZ, a lawsuit has been filed against the estate of Scott Weiland by Daniel Smagacz, who rented a tour bus to Weiland back in 2013, and allegedly, the bus was returned with $50,000 in damages the result of being shot up with a BB gun.
Smagacz is seeking $50,000, plus $100,000 in punitive damages.
Even though Smagacz originally sued Weiland back in 2014, this just reeks of a money grab and is just wrong.
