Axl Rose has given his first interview, of sorts, since Guns N' Roses reunion was announced earlier this year.
Rose was caught by paparazzi while riding a scooter -- to accommodate his broken left foot -- through Los Angeles International Airport and shared a few comments. He said GNR's two Coachella festival shows "went really good. the crowd was amazing. The first show as good, the second show was more fun. The crowd was even more responsive." He said his leg would be in a case for a "couple more weeks" and that he was "very sad" about Prince's death last week.
He's now on to front AC/DC during a European tour that starts May 7 in Portugal; Rose told TMZ that "Touch Too Much" is his favorite AC/DC song, but he only laughed when the outlet noted that he might prefer AC/DC to GNR.
GNR begins its Not In This Lifetime North American tour on June 23 in Detroit, while AC/DC hasn't yet announced make-up dates for the 10 shows it canceled in North America earlier this year.
Axl Rose is on to the next one ... his Guns N' Roses days are done -- for now -- and he's already got AC/DC on the brain.
