Le Bataclan Announces Reopening

Five months to the day after the attacks at Paris’ Le Bataclan that left 89 people dead, the venue has announced plans of opening its doors again later this year.

In a post to their Facebook page, renovation work has begun in the venue, with Le Bataclan’s owners stating they will “try to preserve its warmth and friendliness” and “maintain the popular spirit” of the popular concert hall.  An exact reopening date has yet to be determined, but the first show confirmed at Le Bataclan will be taking place November 16th and feature Pete Dohery on the bill.

More shows will be announced in the near future, and with them, we hope it brings a sense of healing and return to normalcy that is greatly needed to Paris and the entire country of France.
