Dan Auerbach On The State Of The Black Keys

Black Keys fans have been happy to get new music this year from frontman Dan Auerbach in the form of his new band The Arcs, but it has left them wondering about the future of his "main" band.

"No, no, no, no, no. We just finished the Turn Blue Tour not too long ago and we're taking a little break, pretty much been touring for four years straight."

Auerbach gave no hint how long the "little break" will last, however.

The Arcs, meanwhile, kick off a 13-date North American tour on Tuesday (December 1) in Minneapolis, and Auerbach has produced Cage The Elephant's new album "Tell Me I'm Pretty," which is due out December 18.
