Linkin Park Closing Out BlizzCon

Linkin Park hasn’t performed in the U.S. since June, but they’ve lined up a rather high-profile gig for this November.

The band announced via Twitter to be closing out BlizzCon on November 7.  For newbs who may not know what BlizzCon is, it’s a gaming convention held by Blizzard Entertainment (creators of World of Warcraft) that hosts various panels, interviews, tournaments and other activities.  So, think ComicCon, but just strictly for online role-playing gamers.

Linkin Park aren’t the first big rock band to perform the convention’s closing ceremonies.  Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters and Metallica have played BlizzCon in year’s past.

Tickets to BlizzCon are sold out, but if you really, really want to see Linkin Parks’s set, you can purchase a “Virtual Ticket” for $39.99 at here and watch online.
