twenty one pilots Boston concert recap.

Saturday Radio 92.9 presented the Columbus, Ohio duo of Tyler Joseph & Josh Dun popularly known as twenty one pilots' Blurryface tour. The pure energy that surrounded the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion Saturday starting at 7am, only 14 hours before the band went on ... no big deal. Aside from the music performance and watching our listeners meet the band (tears, ripping notes out of a notebook to give to the band, and potentially the smell of pee), the merch line was the most entertaining part of the show. The line flowed down both half circled sides of the venue with people ready to drop some dough to be decked in top gear. During Echosmith's set (what seemed like) half the venue's complicity 5,100 were singing, dancing, and grooving in the merch line.  Now to the show:  top kicked off the show with a song that has enough energy to make it to the 2016 version the popular NFL video game franchise Madden, "Heavydirtysoul."  Tyler Joseph then hooked the crowd with the second single off of their 4th album Blurryface, "Stressed Out" having the entire crowd sing at the top of their lungs ...

"Wish we could turn back time, to the good old days
When our momma sang us to sleep but now we're stressed out"
