We all hoped the Foo Fighters wouldn’t have to cancel anymore shows due to Dave Grohl’s broken leg, but unfortunately, the band have announced that the remainder of the U.K. and European tour dates have been scrapped.
In a statement on their official website, the Foos have pulled out of the following shows:
June 19 & 20 - London, UK - Wembley Stadium
June 23 - Edinburgh, UK - BT Murrayfield Stadium
June 25 - Werchter, Belgium - Festivalpark Werchter
June 26 - Glastonbury Festival 2015
So far, no dates from the North American leg of the band’s ‘Sonic Highways’ world tour have been canceled, however, Dave underwent surgery on his broken leg yesterday (June 15th), and doctors have yet to determine his recovery time. Per a post from Dave himself, six screws were needed to repair his broken leg. Yikes!
Despite this bad news, Dave appears to be in good spirits and managed to poke fun at Kanye West (who is another Glastonbury headliner) at the end of his post by writing, “PS…….Kanye…..Imma let you have this one…..” (Hilarious!)
