Considering Dave Grohl is this year’s chosen Record Store Day Ambassador, it’s only fitting the Foo Fighters come out with a special Record Store Day release.
Per RecordStoreDay.com, the Foos will be putting out a limited edition 10” vinyl release called Songs From The Laundry Room, which contains four tracks, including two early demos of “Alone + Easy Target,” “Big Me,” a cover of Kim Wilde’s “Kids in America” and a previously unreleased song called “Empty Handed.”
Only 4,000 copies of Songs From The Laundry Room will be made available on Record Store Day, which this year falls on April 18th, so fans better line up early for a chance to snag this exclusive title!
…In other Foo news, more awesome video has surfaced from the Foo Fighters tour in Australia!
In the video below (which contains some NSFW language), Grohl explains why the show was rescheduled. (He had to fly back home to California to attend a Daddy-Daughter dance with his little girl. So sweet!) The only problem, however, is that at the dance, he got food poisoning, which made for an interesting flight back to Australia. But ever the trooper, Grohl proceeds to chug his beer, per the crowd’s request, proving once again, he’s definitely a man of the fans.
