White's second solo album, Lazaretto, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when it was released during June of 2014, and its title track won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance. During the interim White toured extensively, released an album with his band the Dead Weather, co-executive produced the PBS music series American Epic and appeared on albums by Beyonce and A Tribe Called Quest.
He'll be releasing a 10th anniversary edition of the White Stripes' Icky Thump this month, while a children's book based on the White Stripes song "We're Going To Be Friends" comes out November 7.
