It’s Tom Morello’s birthday (May 30), and there’s one performance that we just can’t help but think of today.
In 2014, seven years after Audioslave broke up, Morello and Chris Cornell reunited for a benefit concert for the organization 15 Now, which fought for a $15 minimum wage in Seattle. The show was nothing short of magical. The video below which features performances of “I Am The Highway,” “Doesn’t Remind Me,” “Your Time Has Come,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad” and “Cochise.”
Audioslave, in full, would reunite in January 2017 for the Anti-Inaugural Ball in Los Angeles where the band would perform a three-song set of “Like A Stone,” “Cochise” and “Show Me How To Live,” but there certainly is something special about this intimate performance.
