NEW: Gorillaz: "Hallelujah Money" - First Track In 6 Years

The virtual band, Gorillaz, has finally found a way to get back on their virtual horse and into their virtual studio to record again!  Of course as heard on Alt 92.9 their songs "Feels Good Inc" and "Clint Eastwood" (you know the song with the repeating verse..."I got sunshine in a bag", which is a brilliant quote taken from Clint's 1966 film The Good The Bad And The Ugly, (LOVE that reference!)) are fan favorites, so it's no wonder that this new song is a trending topic.  Plus it is their first song in 6 years.

Hallelujah Money is, as the title might give away, a song about the worship of $$$ and the corrosive influence of big business on politics. Starring 2015 Mercury prize winner Benjamin Clementine

Hallelujah Money (feat. Benjamin Clementine) - Gorillaz

Gorillaz returns after six years with the apocalyptic "Hallelujah Money" video, the first taste of their new record which is coming later this year. The band has issued this song on the eve of the Inauguration of President-Elect Donald Trump to serve as commentary on a politically-charged, historical moment.
