Tool/Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan has recruited some musical friends to moderate promotional readings and Q&A appearances to promote the new authorized biography A Perfect Union of Contrary Things.
Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil will moderate the November 19 stop in Seattle, while Keenan's A Perfect Circle partner Billy Howerdel will do the honors on November 22 in Los Angeles. Former Pigface vocalist and chef Dirk Flanigan will handle one of the November 16 stops in Chicago, Ministry and Puscifer alumnus Paul Barker will moderate the November 18 reading in Portland and Steven Drozd of the Flaming Lips will be on the final stop, November 27 in Dallas.
The book is currently available for pre-order from all retailers and is due out November 8. The 13-date trek begins November 9 in Nashville.
Keenan, meanwhile, continues to work on Tool's new album, with no release plans tipped yet.
