Tommy Lee Jones: The Original Liam Neeson

People always make the joke that Liam Neeson is the person that always chases people down and finds them, but I think you all are forgetting about Tommy Lee Jones

Someone who would be massively great at Hide and Seek, Tommy Lee Jones always seems to be chasing people. I mean, seriously. Look at some of his movies, and he's always going after someone. So on his birthday, we're going to highlight the champ of always catching his man. Or woman. Or aliens.

We're even skipping over Agent K from Men In Black, because they were chasing aliens.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Samuel Gerard, The Fugitive

Tommy Lee Jones chasing Harrison Ford is prime chasing. The entire movie is literally a cat and mouse game between the two - and TLJ is perfect with his attitude. Watch the clip of his leadership below:

The Fugitive: Samuel Gerard's Leadership

When the move The Fugitive was released in 1993 I was adamant to see it straight away. Harrison Ford was one of Hollywood's hot properties and, moreover, a leading role had been given to Tommy Lee Jones, for whom I had grown a soft spot.

Chief Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard, U.S. Marshals

He continues his chasing with Wesley Snipes in U.S. Marshals under the same name

Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, No Country For Old Men

A sheriff looking for a serial killer. Where have I heard that one before?

Travis, Double Jeopardy

In this movie, he's following Ashley Judd's character who was framed for murdering her husband. She knows she can't be tried again for doing the exact same thing, so she hunts him while being hunted by Tommy Lee Jones.

L.T. Bonham, The Hunted

In this particular film, he trained the man that he is now chasing. That puts a spin on it!

The Hunted - Trailer

In the woods of Silver Falls US Special Forces Operative Aaron Hallam goes on the rampage. But nothing is quite what it seems... Lieutenant Bonham, the man who trained him, is brought out of retirement to track him down and bring him to justice.

So needless to say: Don't try to pull anything on Tommy Lee Jones. He will find you. Even if you are Liam Neeson. Happy Birthday, Tommy!
