Pearl Jam surprised fans in Philadelphia on Friday (April 29) with another full-album performance -- this time of its debut album, Ten.
The group started the show with its frequent opener "Once," also the album's opening track, and then followed with the remaining nine tracks in sequence. It was only the second time the group has played Ten in its entirety, following a 1992 show in Munich, Germany.
Earlier this month the group played its second album, Vs., in Greenville, S.C. The group played seven songs from Ten on Sunday (May 1) at Madison Square Garden in New York City, but not the entire album.
Pearl Jam plays a second show tonight (May 2) at Madison Square Garden and wraps its latest tour on June 11 at the Bonnaroo festival in Tennessee. The group has sporadic summer dates planned, including two shows each at Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field during August.
