GN’R Vegas Recap

With the first two reunion stadium shows in the books, we can all breathe a sigh of relief that Guns N’ Roses more than pulled off two stellar shows, even with Axl Rose nursing a broken foot.

Speaking of the broken foot, we can all thank Dave Grohl for lending his now infamous thrown he used on tour recently when he had a broken leg.  Rose even sent out a “thank you” tweet to Grohl, where we also learned he’s a big fan of emojis.

From the fan shot footage that has surface, Rose’s vocals sound pretty great, and you can definitely tell he’s singing live.  (No lip-syncing necessary for Axl!)  The band sounds really tight, too!

Both set lists (listed below), were pretty much the same, save for a couple of tracks, like “Don’t Cry” and “My Michelle” featuring Sebastian Bach both being featured on night two.

As for what time GN’R took the stage (which is making many fans leery), reports are saying the band began night one shortly after midnight, which was about an hour and a half after opener Alice In Chains.  Night two, however, saw a significant improvement, with the band starting their set a little less than an hour after AIC.

See!  They’re getting better!  Or at least they’ll have to, considering their headlining Coachella sets on April 16th and 23rd.  You can’t mess around too much with festival times.
