To help raise money for the families of the Paris terrorist attack victims, Eagles of Death Metal invited musicians the world over to record their song “I Love You All The Time.” There was an outpouring of support, and now the band have released the first batch of covers as part of their Play It Forward Campaign
Available on iTunes, Amazon Prime Music and Spotify, the first batch features covers from Florence + The Machine (Featuring The Maccabees), Ed Harcourt, Imagine Dragons, Jimmy Eat World, Alain Johannes, Kings Of Leon, Mini Mansions, My Morning Jacket, The New Pacific, r00ms, Savages, Sinner Sinners and Dean Ween Group.
All proceeds from the covers go to Friends of Fondation de France. On top of that, Pearl Jam are releasing a special two-track single of a live version of “I Want You So Hard” and drummer Matt Cameron’s version of “I Love You All The Time.” This single is available digitally and on vinyl at PearlJam.com with proceeds going to Josh Homme’s The Sweet Stuff Foundation, which is also aiding Paris attack victims.
