5.  The GOP Debate dominated social media this week, and in the lead up to it, fans found out that Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory is quite the fan of Republican candidate Donald Trump.

4.  This week marks the 30th anniversary of the infamous PMRC hearings that found Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider carrying the flag for the rock/metal community. Here’s what he had to say to Rolling Stone about looking back on the big music censorship debate:

“All my concerns were justified and everything I was worried about played out just the way that I feared. There's still a desire to censor and shut us up. I am prepared anytime to go back to Washington and stand up again.”

3.  Everyone knows Dave Grohl and the saga of his broken leg, but can you believe people think it’s all a conspiracy theory? Here’s what he had to say about it all at a September 14th tour stop in Portland:

“I have a note from my doctor – although I’m really into the idea of a conspiracy theory. “What if I didn’t break my f*cking leg? What if I jumped off stage, fell on the ground and made it all look like it was a fucking emergency?  They dragged me off to the side, the band keeps playing, then 10 minutes later I magically reappear. Then I get somebody else’s X-ray of a broken leg, make it into a T-shirt and we make millions of f*cking dollars.  And I design this f*cking awesome throne so I don’t have to stand up any more. Imagine that!”

2.  Comedy duo Moll & Rell took Nickelback to task with their spoof ad (embedded above) about a new app called “Nickelblock,” which plays the band’s song “Photograph” whenever you try to stalk an ex’s Facebook page. Here’s the “risks” of using “Nickelblock:”

Risks include:  Being attracted to all things Chad Kroeger (including, but not limited to, frosted tips, pooka shell necklaces and chin pubes); a strong desire to bomb Canada for creating a monster; and a loss of dignity.

1.  Even though everything seemed to resolve itself in the end, the series of tweets from Black Keys’ drummer Patrick Carney about an alleged run-in with Jack White in an NYC bar were pretty hilarious.
