Maynard James Keenan’s Puscifer Announces U.S. Tour Dates

Maynard James Keenan is headed back on the road -- just not with Tool, as many fans would most like to see him.

Instead Keenan is taking his other band, Puscifer, out for a six-week run to promote its third studio album, Money Shot, which comes out October 30th. The Puscifer trek begins at the Monster Mash festival on November 1 in Phoenix, wrapping up December 12 in Las Vegas, with tickets for most shows going on sale August 21.

In a statement Keenan promises "There will be a whole new show to accompany the Money Shot release. We've been leaving a few clues here and there as to what it may entail. As usual, we prefer to show rather than tell. Odds are if you've been a fan of the diverse nature of our performances in the past you'll want to go ahead and places those bets."

Money Shot is the group's first album since 2011, with Primus drummer Tim Alexander and Keenan`s son Devo playing on it. Tool, meanwhile, is reportedly working on its first new album since 2006 after settling an eight-year lawsuit.
