White Stripes’ ‘Get Behind Me Satan’ Being Reissued On Record Store Day

With Record Store Day (April 18th) a little over a month away, many artists are starting to announce their special releases, and unsurprisingly, Jack White’s Third Man Records will be offering up some limited edition vinyl courtesy of the White Stripes’ catalog.

In honor of the album’s 10th anniversary, a special pressing of the duo’s fifth studio album Get Behind Me Satan will be available as a double LP at shops taking part in Record Store Day, marking the first time the album being sold in the vinyl format.  Each LP will be pressed on 180-gram vinyl, and to match the White Stripes’ infamous color scheme, one LP will be pressed on red vinyl and the other on white.

…And it doesn’t stop at colored vinyl!  This pressing will also come with new inner artwork that can only be found on this limited release, because if anyone’s going to go all out on Record Store Day, it’s Jack White.

If your local shop sells out of the album before you get your hands on it, don’t fret!  A standard black vinyl release is expected out later this year.
